Current Role within our Ministries

RedArrow Ministries would like to beta test new elementary and middle school programming. It is our hope to meet students where they are at and help them feel seen, loved and valued while passing the baton of faith onto them.
We are proposing moving our Kid's Club and Middle School Youth Group from Sunday afternoons to Sunday mornings. Programming would begin following the children's message through the end of the service much like the structure of Rest Stop.
Following the children's message, students would break off into three classes: Rest Stop (Preschool - 1st Grade), Kid's Club (2nd-5th grades), and Middle School (6th-7th grades). Curriculum would be based on the children's message with an invitation for kids to share their thoughts and dig into the passage and topic in an age appropriate way.
In order to move our programming we have to make sure that we have volunteers. We are hoping to beta test this concept, Sunday, September 21 - Sunday, October 12.
The number of people that volunteer will assist us in determining whether we can offer this at both services, just at the 9:30 or just at the 11:00.
Our current worship service will not change; therefore, families will always have the option to attend the service together and children may remain for the sermon if this is the preference of your family.

In order for us to make this programming change, we will need additional volunteers. Ideally, we would have volunteers to cover all of these spots. Our goal is that people are scheduled for 1 service, once a month. This is 12 assignments per year.
A gift of two services is that people can attend one service and attend another. So, serving in our children ministries should not prevent someone from attending worship. Knowing this how often would you be willing to serve....
